Proebstel Church History
We invite you to join us as we grow in our relationship with Christ and as a body of believers. As a church we devote ourselves to the instruction of God's Word, fellowship with one another, worship of our Lord, and prayer.
Instruction

Our emphasis is on Bible teaching, and we offer several learning opportunities each week, including:
• Preaching - Most of the year our pastor is preaching through a book of the Bible.
• Sunday School - Offered for all ages.
• Womens' Bible Studies - Offered at various times during the week.
• Mens' Bible Studies - Also offered at various times during the week.
• Youth Group - Including Bible study and community outreach.
• Small Groups - Home Bible studies hosted by various families within the church.
  Fellowship

Proebstel is the ideal place for interactive learning, developing interpersonal relationships, and communing with other believers. Opportunities include:

• Fellowship Dinner - once a month after the worship service.
• Informal Get Togethers - usually in members homes, and over meals.
• Gatherings for Holidays - such as New Year's Eve, Valentines's Day, Easter, and Christmas.
• Business Meetings - where we gather to decide God's direction for our church.
  Prayer

Prayer is important at Proebstel, and is offered at all our gatherings, as well as during the following special meetings:

• Worship Service - during the service there is a special time of prayer led by the pastor and other leaders of the church.
• Wednesday Evening - a scheduled meeting to pray for the needs of the church.
• Small Groups - prayer is offered by group members for those in need inside and outside our church.
• Sunday Morning - during which prayers are made for the coming Sunday services and for any special needs within the church.
